Supervisors' Reflections
Dr. Erika F. Frydenlund, Research Associate Professor, Virginia Modeling, Analysis, & Simulation Center, ODU
“Meaghan has been at VMASC in different roles for several years. Her integration with the Storymodelers two years ago introduced a whole new set of skillsets into our group. She joins her artistic skills with a passion for inclusive design and educational interventions. Beyond that, Meaghan is curious about literally everything. She has been a critical asset in everything from proposal development to stakeholder engagement to data collection and analysis. Her curiosity drives her to delve outside of her comfort zone and that fundamental aspect of who she is has helped her grow into the strong emerging scholar that she is today. ”
Dr. Krzysztof J. Rechowicz, Research Associate Professor, Center for Mission Engineering, ODU
"It’s hard to imagine our lab without Meaghan's curiosity, creativity, hard work, persistence, and ingenuity. In search of a solution, she transcends the boundaries of disciplines while embracing human-centered design. Her ability to integrate diverse perspectives fosters innovative approaches that address real-world challenges with empathy and precision.”
